Uovo Uovo, from Catharina Bossaert is, first and foremost, an egg cup for two. It consists of two stacked shapes, which form a robust terracotta or concrete block on the outside. On the glazed interior, the imprint of an egg is revealed. �It is meant to be a game between the fragile emptiness and the clunky, clay form,� says Bossaert. �I always look for contrasts and tension, such as unexpected combinations of materials, textures and shapes that inspire me.
